Renée ALLEM is a South African born FINE ARTIST, creating Abstract Expressionism on a multitude of diverse surfaces.  Her paintings have evolved into large scale works on canvas, masonite and contorted metal sheets which are rich in texture and undulating paint.  Her ARTWORKS are a banquet for the imagination.  Allem also creates sculptures and three dimensional relief art from a variety of materials and MIXED MEDIA shaping them into innovative ABSTRACT forms. 

Allem exhibits her work with various national and international galleries.  Her work is commissioned by art dealers, designers and collectors around the world.  Allem also works on corporate and PUBLIC ART projects.  This passion for the arts has inspired her to teach others art appreciation and enhance the awareness of art in the community through various projects and exhibitions.  She recently created an art program for hospitalized children that is designed to serve both as therapy and provide the children with an art education.  Allem was invited to exhibit her work at the 2009/2011 Biennale Internazionale in Florence, Italy.

Allem's education includes studying for a Bachelor of Fine Art at Wits in South Africa with her  majors in painting and graphic printmaking.  A fascination for design led her to further studies in fashion, interior and graphic design.
